Title: Interior Architectural Photography

Judy Cravy grew up in Ohio and moved to East Tennessee fourteen years ago.  She found work as a manager for a rental management company where her interest in photography was spurred by the need for rental cabin marketing photos to be placed on the internet.  Judy proceeded to earn her Certification in Photography from the University of Tennessee four years ago, and is a member of PPA and NAPP.  She presently owns her own professional architectural photography business serving Sevier County and the surrounding areas.

Her work includes homes, cabins, laboratories and churches.  Her clients are primarily rental management companies and cabin owners, but also includes Dollywood, Dixie Stampede, R&D Laboratories, and Worship Facilities Magazine.  Judy is a Nikon gal.  She shoots a Nikon DSLR and uses the Nikon Creative Lighting System as well as Photoshop CS3 in her work.

Bob McAnally Photo

Title: Project Work Flow

“I have not found any one photographic specialty; I just shoot what I see.”  Bob has spent 40 years working with computers for a living and 15 years with film photography as a hobby and 5 years shooting digital.   When Bob converted to digital photography, he found he was fascinated by the digital darkroom and excited by its level of control and he dug in to master it.  Bob currently has some of his work being shown in the Edward James Gallery in The Shoppes at the Roper Mansion in Dandridge, TN. Bob is a member of the LeConte Photography Club.

Bob will provide a presentation and show the steps involved in creating a 20 image portfolio.  Some of the project elements will include: Data Capture, Select Keepers, Post Processing, Select presentation folder, Select Paper, Craft format for Image display on paper, and Print and assemble a portfolio.  Bob will include image samples using Adobe Lightroom™ software and the enhancement and manipulation of images to get the final product.

Gloria & Bob Epperson

Title: Upper Peninsular of Michigan Fall Film Presentation

Gloria and Bob will present a 23 minute digital program on the Upper Peninsular of Michigan during a fall season. Images included are from the Porcupine Mountains, Copper Harbor, Bond Falls, Marquette Harbor, Picture Rock National Park, Tahquamenon Falls and River and Tank Lakes. After the digital program, they will hold an open discussion about their methods of photographing streams, falls and other questions on their photography.

Gloria and Bob have visited most of our National Parks in the lower forty-eight states, Alaska and providences of Canada. The mode of travel has mostly been by auto and a travel trailer, which gives them many options when they are waiting for the best timing and weather conditions for their photography. Their passion for wildlife in their natural settings and the excitement of a special location in the right lighting continues to drive them both in the field of photography.

They have sold their work for use in offices, corporations and to individuals. They have shared their photographic experiences with patents in nursing homes, civic clubs, churches and the Wilderness Wildlife Week event in Pigeon Forge.

Next Meeting Date
Hello everyone, It was brought to our attention that April 1 is not only April Fools Day but also Maundy Thursday. Many of our members are planning to attend these services. Therefore, the April meeting has been rescheduled to Thursday, April 8th, 6:30pm at the Rose Center. We have Bob McAnally as the presenter for that evening.
